With a cracking cast, including Sean Pertwee ( Event Horizon) and Kevin McKidd ( Trainspotting), special effects to make your hair stand on end, and endless quotable lines (“Sausages…. It’s The Howling meets Ultimate Force, with an irresistible mix of foul-mouthed squaddies taking on vicious werewolves, combined with plenty of blood and gore, and brilliantly effective action set pieces. One of the great British horror films, and certainly one of the best werewolf films ever, Neil Marshall’s debut grossed £5 million at the box office when it was first released in 2002, and quickly became a bona fide fan favourite. Things are getting hairy as Vertigo Releasing re-release the classic British troops-versus-werewolves horror Dog Soldiers, with a superb 4K restoration, and stunning, newly-commissioned promotional artwork by legendary illustrator Chris Malbon, in UK cinemas and available on digital platforms this October. To celebrate the 4K Digital release of Dog Soldiers, we’re giving away an iTunes voucher. Clarke made his film debut in 2003’s “ I’ll Sleep When I’m Dead” and has since starred in movies including “ Star Trek Into Darkness,” “ Centurion,” “ 4.3.2.1.,” “ Fast Girls,” “ Storage 24,” “ I Am Soldier,” “ The Anomaly,” “ I Kill Giants,” “ Mute,” “10×10,” “ The Corrupted,” “ Twist” and “ Sas: Red Notice.” In 2015, Clarke founded the London-based production company Unstoppable Film and Television with Jason Maza, eventually securing investment from super-indie All3Media, which owns “Fleabag” producer Two Brothers and “ 1917” outfit Neal Street Productions. Clarke also writes, produces and plays Aaron Bishop in the British police procedural series “ Bulletproof,” alongside close friend Ashley Walters. Clarke played Mickey Smith in “ Doctor Who” from 2005 to 2010 and starred as Sam in the films “ Kidulthood,” “ Adulthood” and “ Brotherhood,” which he wrote and directed, intent on bringing more representations of working-class Britain to screen. This week, British actor, writer and director Noel Clarke has made headlines after being accused of groping, harassment and bullying by 20 women. It’s only fitting that both of the film’s post-credits scenes follow Kang and his growing influence. So, while “Quantumania” may end with the classic villain being defeated by Paul Rudd’s Ant-Man and Evangeline Lilly’s The Wasp, he’s not really going anywhere. In 2021, he made his Marvel debut in an episode of “ Loki,” appearing as one of Kang’s many, many variants. Majors was cast in “Quantumania” in September 2020, with the entertainment giant eventually signing him for a deal that will include starring roles in Phase 6 features “ Avengers: The Kang Dynasty” (in 2025) and “ Avengers: Secret Wars” (in 2026). Newly minted Marvel baddie Kang the Conquerer ( Jonathan Majors) may lord over Peyton Reed’s “ Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania,” but that’s only the start of what’s to come for the villain in the coming years of the ever-expanding Marvel Cinematic Universe. tCwODrZk5j - Andimexico ApBorn on May 2, 1995, Figueroa is the son of Grammy-winning Mexican singer Joan Sebastian and singer Maribel Guardia.
